About Sarah Jane Therapies

Building Relationships

You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.  I believe in the importance of well-being, trusting that massage can help you maintain physical, mental and emotional health, and strive to help people maintain this though regular treatments.

Sharing Knowledge

Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.

Using the therapeutic power of touch, I can personalise a massage to the needs of my client and also promote healing from within.   Every massage is tailored to you, so you get exactly what you are looking for.

Helping You Feel Better

Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness/injury or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.

I offer a range of massage including holistic massage, swedish massage, deep tissue, hot stone massage, pregnancy and Indian Head massage. I like to incorporate soothing massage with deep tissue work and I feel by combining different techniques makes for a relaxing, yet effective massage, to relieve tight muscles from daily stress or injuries from overuse.

About Me

I have always had a passion for the way our body works, and the effect massage can have on all systems of the body. I have over twenty years’ experience in my field. Having completed my training in South Devon with ITEC in 1999, I headed to Sydney Australia for six years, where I continued my development in the latest massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and pressure point techniques. With a love of skin as well, I trained in facial therapy learning lymphatic drainage massage for the face and eyes.

Back in the Bay I have continued to expand my range of techniques and am now qualified in hot stone massage therapy; a wonderful technique which eases muscle tension, reduces stress and promotes sleep.

Love the skin you are in. Age, environment and stress are all conditions that cause degeneration of our skin. A loss of moisture elasticity and an impaired acid mantle mean that the skin cannot function properly. It is important to nourish and hydrate the skin as a living organ. A customised facial using the correct products can help to achieve a healthier skin.
